On behalf of myself and the good people of Pankshin Kanke and Kanam Federal Constituency, I want to congratulate the Muslim communities in PKK and around the world on the occasion of Maulud Nabi 1441AH, 2019 equivalent Gregorian calendar.
Maulud, the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him), is a time for Muslims to reflect on the live and time of the holy prophet. It is therefore a good time to exemplify, among ourselves and with the people of other faiths, his teachings and noble traditions of peace, love, compassion, tolerance, forgiveness, almsgiving, trustworthiness, and piety.
As we celebrate this day, I urge you to pray for the progress of PKK and Nigeria at large and conduct ourselves peacefully in all processions, congregations and assemblies. Happy Maulud 2019

The death of a young man usually comes with a rude shock most especially a youth whose life has been exemplary in many fronts.
Beka Michael Dungtur tick such boxes and hence; it is indeed, the sun setting before noon!.
He was a well refined gentleman, broadminded, community development enthusiast, astute progressive and a loyal and committed lieutenant to his boss.
He was always passionate towards the development and unity of Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam federal constituency and the entire state as a whole. He believed that developmental and progressive politics should take the centre stage.
His death is a big blow to us in PKK and to most especially the youths who are his immediate constituency.
May his soul find eternal rest in the bossom of the Lord Amen. May we be comforted by the fact that he lived a life worthy of emulation judging by how the whole State stood still upon receiving the news of his demise.
Special condolence to his immediate family, the Ngas nation, Ngas Youths Movement and to Hon Temwakat Weli (commissioner for culture and tourism), friends, associates and all of us in PKK and the state at large.

The attention of the member Representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, has been drawn to a fallacious and misleading news report titled “Six-year single term resonates as Buhari works for tenure elongation” written by a group of ill intentioned journalists, Innocent Odoh, James Kwen and Solomon Ayado, as published on 10th November 2019, by an online news blog https://businessday.ng, The said report claims in part that:
“The indications to amend the Constitution are becoming even palpable; hence so far, three Bills to amend the Constitution have passed first reading in the National Assembly, especially in the House of Representatives which may not be unconnected with tenure elongation or six-year single term for president. These bills are: Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (Alteration) Bill, 2019 (HB.408) (Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos), Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (Alteration) Bill, 2019 (HB.410) (Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos) and Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (Alteration) Bill, 2019 (HB.418) (Hon. Awaji-InombekAbiante).”
The Hon. member wishes to state categorically that:
1. On no occasion did he (Hon. Bagos) ever raise any bill on the floor of the National Assembly seeking to amend or alter the Constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria, allegedly in connection to six-year single term for president, nor the rumored tenure elongation for President Buhari.
3. Not as mendaciously published by this website, The actual bill which passed second not first reading on November 8th 2019 is; A bill for an Act to Amend the Nigerian Education Research and Development Council Act, cap. N105, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004; and for Related Matters (HB.84) (Hon. Dachung Bagos) – Second reading. More details at http://www.viewpointnigeria.org/rep-bagos-bill-on-nerdc-voted-on-and-passed-for-second-reading/
The general public should please take note and treat this publication with utmost disregard as the malevolent hoax that it actually is.
Hon. Bagos therefore expresses his complete displeasure over this disgusting news item and demands an apology as well as the prompt retraction of this gratuitous tales of falsehood which apparently is an attempt to misrepresent and botch his image for reasons best known to the authors.
Signed: Precious k. Nyako For: Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos
While we at the Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO), are yet trying to mend fences and harmonize contending and seeming irreconcilable standpoints from some quarters within us, which have consistently constructed a warped and confusing narrative of the plight and position of the Berom nation, our attention has been drawn to a senseless media outburst by an unknown contraption, called Berom Political Frontiers. The outfit chaired by one David Choji with Pam Markus as it’s Secretary, two ago ruffled not a few feathers with its free-fall, clearly sponsored clampdown on Senator Istifanus D. Gyang, for a comment he ( Sen. Gyang), made at a function, some months ago, where he is said to have tendered an apology to the Hausa/Fulani residents of Jos, on the bad blood that has characterised inter communal relationships in our land, culminating in the open invasion of our communities by terrorist armed gangs of the Hausa/Fulani.
We do not claim to hold brief for the distinguished Senator nor in anyway, deny the said individuals the right to fair hearing, as enshrined in our constitution. In fact, being constituents of the senator, granted they’re not pseudonyms, they are entitled to join issues with him as well as all their elected representatives, at all times and on any issue(s), they are interested in. We however, fault their approach on the following grounds;
The group and its signatories lack credibility as their identity and intentions are not only doubtful but dubious. Above all, they are not competent enough to speak for and on behalf of the Berom. As noted above, the individuals have every reason to speak for themselves, though.
The issues raised in their draft clearly smacked of a hatchet job, poorly and immaturely executed. Certainly, we see a disconnect between the issues raised and the individual signatories, in the sense that we cannot lay hands on any track record of past/present performance or achievements, , with respect to the accusations levelled against the senator. The authors obviously rushed into equity with filthy hands. Since some of the allegations border on not standing with our reverred Dara Jang, in the course of his politically-motivated trial, it needs no further inquiries to conclude, that the sponsor (s) of this campaign of calumny must be one, or some of the individuals, who have found the court sessions, a comfortable setting to manipulate for personal gains.
Beromland is far from coming out of the siege of the Fulani terrorism that has unleashed itself on our communities, with a substantial proportion of our people out of their ancestral homelands. The least we need at this point in time, is these reckless, irresponsible and very unfortunate outpourings of divisive schemes. Our unity, has remained our source of strength, and this we cannot mortgage for whatever reason. This is why the BECO is in no doubt about our state devastation at this sad and regrettable show of shame.
If authors of the said press statement were sincere in their attack on the senator, for usurping the position of the traditional institution and development associations, to speak on such a weighty issue, we see the same mistake in their approach, for resorting to the media to initiate an unnecessary friction, instead of approaching the same institutions and organisations in the land.
While the BECO is saddened by the action of the said individuals because of its capacity to create unnecessary divisions among us, we urge our people not to allow partisan politics to dig trenches of hatred between us. The action of faceless social media not wits cannot be a true representation of the Berom nation, hence the BECO dissociates itself from the views, motives and intentions of the so-called Berom Political Frontiers.
President Muhammadu Buhari congratulates Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama on his appointment as Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja by the Holy Father, Pope Francis, following the retirement of John Cardinal Onaiyekan.

Garba Shehu Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity) November 10, 2019
It is with bleeding heart that I am sending out this tribute on you.You came into this world, conquered it and departed swiftly. I saw you riding high like a Star, destined for greatness with an unparalleled distinguished character, poised to take on the world. You served me, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Hospitality, Plateau State and the Nation at large, Diligently, Honestly, Sincerely and with utmost Loyalty. It feels as if my right arm has been cut off. However, as believers in Christ and knowing HE makes no mistakes in his decisions, to him we ascribe all Glory and Honour. You will forever be in our hearts.
YOU ARE A LOSS TO THE NGAS NATION! REST ON MY DEAREST BEKA… ADIEU! ADIEU!! ADIEU!!!
My profound gratitude first is to God Almighty for His enormous grace and favour since the beginning of this aspiration. Appreciation also goes to the good people of Bokkos, Mangu, Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Local Government Areas for the massive votes showered on me during the last general elections. Words alone can not express how grateful I am. Also, for the love and solidarity shown me since the commencement of the tribunal, which invariably kept me focused and strong throughout the court proceedings. Just when the people of Plateau Central Zone spoke with one voice by giving me their mandate, we are however distracted by Opposition who challenged our victories at the tribunal and the court of appeal. I would have thought otherwise, that instead of appearing to be challenging not only the election, judiciary and ultimately God, since all power belongs to Him and comes from Him. As brothers, we should learn to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship, having ran the course up to the judgment of the appeal court. The entire process hasn’t been an easy one, but for the grace of God and the unending support of the good people of Plateau Central Zone, we were able to see the end. At this juncture, may I commend the judiciary for your ability to defend the true will of the people of Plateau Central Zone as enshrined in the Constitution of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria. Indeed, the judiciary is the last hope for the common man. To my, lawyers, I appreciate you for your efforts. Days of distraction are now over. Now is time to face the real business of governance- representation of the good people of Plateau Central Zone. I want to reaffirm my commitment to you all, that I would work tirelessly to deliver good on my promises. To my opponent and brother, from whom though I expected brotherly love and putting the interest of the people to prevail in our quest for transient power, yet this wasn’t the case here. However, this issue mustn’t be over flogged, as I call on all and sundry to put all hands on deck to forge ahead. Our constituency and the country at large will progress if we pursue the people’s interest, rather than the display of disdain and impatience. As progressive minds, we should know when to accept reality and embrace destiny. I also want to congratulate all those who were victorious at the Appeal court. Let’s do more. DISTINGUISHED SENATOR HEZEKIAH AYUBA DIMKA Chairman Senate Committee On Drugs and Narcotics National Assembly Abuja HDmedia

Nen Nyi dan mbut mun kishik.
First,i wish to call on Plateau People to bring up only constructive and objective criticism not insult or on other Political appointees in the State and the Federal level.
The 2nd Tenure is a tenure for legacy projects, hard work, new innovations, policies and programmes that have direct positive bearing on the people and the State.
Here on the Plateau our dynamic Governor has started the 2nd Tenure on the wrong footing, the popularity of the Governor is going down at a geometrical rate everyday, the cabals and those who eat fat at that table speak even more against the worrisome Situation we have found ourselves far off so that they will not offend the powers that be and be kicked out.
I will love to draw the attention of our dynamic Governor and the APC to these facts which are public issues and are already before the public court of justice where the masses are the Judges:
1.The consistent traveling of Mr Governor to either Abuja or other parts of the Country and outside the Country should be looked into, the traveling is so much that what ever you explain to the people, that it is in the interest of the State will only go on deaf ears, public perception matters a lot in governance.
2.State issues have been abandoned due to the consistent traveling of Mr Governor.
3.The insecurity in Jos the State Capital and some parts of the State is growing at an alarming rate.
4.The Capital is with a lot of dirt with refuse everywhere mean while the governor is not always in the State to notice or take note.
5.When the Governor works very hard in the State there will be no need to go and look for investors the will come and invest with billions of dollars, because the state is viable.
6.The APC on the Plateau is rather very weak our party the APC Plateau State chapter should be grateful to the almighty that the strongest opposition party in the State the PDP has been involve in deep crisis which is not surprising because the PDP is mostly controlled by money bags.
7.Youths on the Plateau have been sidelined by your administration, your loyalist are going away very fast, which is and will be a major set back to the rescue adminstration in the long run.
8.Mr. Governor is not building his structure he is building and using the structure of a past leader which will be a blow to your political career in 2023.
10.Mr.Governor must focus on the development of Plateau State as it is only Plateau people that can recommend you to a higher office in 2023 .
11.Mr.Governor needs to do a lot of projects across the State especially the Southern Zone.
12.Some cabals within the government are busy with the blame game while the people have been relegated to the background.
13.I wish to say that unless the Governor works tirelessly for the people nobody will entrust Mr.Governor with the seat of the Vice President of Nigeria if the rumors in the street is true .
14.If our dynamic leader does not take heed Mr Governor should as well forget 2023.
15.Road projects are going on in a snail speed we cannot continue in these pattern pls.
16.We have a House of Assembly and the Speaker that is rather very weak and cannot call the Governor to order with the numerous complain by the people about the frequent traveling of Mr Governor, do they understand the principle of separation of power and then check and balance?
17.The Plateau State House of Assembly Approved the Governor to appoint 16 Special Advisers it is taking almost forever nothing has happened,Plateau people do not know what is happening anymore.
18.Plateau people are interested in results,we need to see Mr.Governor supervising projects all round the State.
Our dynamic Governor the Chairman of the Northern governors forum has all it takes to be the new political leader to fill in the shoes of our most revered Leader Chief Solomon .D. Lar the emancipator of the Middle Belt but the chances are far in sight if the status quo remains sir.
I am 100% loyal to Governor Simon Bako Lalong only and PMB because 100 is a standard and that is the only standard that has been set up by man,but the truth sets free I cannot remain mute when the Governor and the party i love is going on a snail speed with little impact,i supported Mr.Governor against all odds,we are waiting sir,the frequent traveling should be looked into the people are not taking Mr.Governor serious again.
It is better to finish well because the end of the matter is more important or 2023 we in the APC may be disgraced out of office, the good thing is that the governor has time.
With these I hope and pray that the 2nd Tenure of Mr.Governor will not be a liability to the people of Plateau State in 2023.
ThinkPlateauActPlateau
God bless Plateau State
God bless Rt.Hon.Simon Bako Lalong.
