As you celebrate your birthday on this special day, I join millions of well wishers all over Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Federal Constituency, Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole to celebrate you, Sir, you are an epitome of humility, doggedness, perseverance and hard work.
It has been stated that leaders are not born but chosen and i saw the real definition of that in you through your style of leadership, as our Representative in the green chamber, you have written your name in the sands of time and in the history of Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Federal Constituency that in your one hundred days in office more than hundred members of your constituents were given employment.
Sir, you have equally open the eyes of our people that there are employment opportunities in Nigeria unlike in the olden days when your predecessors keep telling us that there are no opportunities or government is not employing, today you have exposes them, you are indeed a role model, worth emulating.
Sir, your love for humanity and passion to bridge the gap between the weak and the strong in the society is an uncommon sense in our world of nowadays, you hardly come in contact with someone without touching changing his or her life.
The many families you touched with employment and empowerment in hundred days in office are quite enormous and you are still doing it, may the Lord bless you sir.
You are an inspiration to us!
You are a rising phenomenon not in PKK or Plateau but in Nigeria as a whole!!
You are a source of positive reference for Nigerian youths!!
Indeed you are a symbol of hope to the future generation.

The Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila today paid a surprised visit to the office of Rt Hon Yusuf Gagdi, the member representing PKK IN the Federal House of Representatives and the chairman House Committee on Navy to felicitate and celebrate him on the occasion of his birthday. The Speaker out of his tight schedule, came in very early to the assembly complex in a mood of celebrations and went straight to his office.


It was then time for plenary, the speaker then directed the Deputy speaker to preside over the plenary. The speaker then moved with some few of his colleagues to Rt Hon Yusuf Gagdi’s office while the birthday man was preparing to head for the plenary, the Speaker entered the office with a mighty beautifully designed birthday card with awesome inscriptions and write ups on it.

Rt Hon Femi then presented the card to the celebrant and prayed for him afterwards the presented a beautiful cake, well garnished with fantastic icing symbolizing the cordiality between himself and Hon Gagdi. The cake was cut and tossed amidst cheers from their honorable colleagues who had come in company of the speaker, the mood in the office was a hilarious one such that their faces could not hide it.

It was more like a mini party as birthday songs and wishes kept raining down on the right honorable who has just turned 40; the beginning of life which is already filled with achievements and accomplishments.


Hon Gagdi could not hide his joy as tears signifying joy without bounds began dropping down his cheeks, he said it was a moment he would not forget in his life as it is part of the solidarity they have shown him after emerging victorious at the appeal court.

The Former Deputy Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly then used the opportunity to thank his constituents, colleagues, friends, associates, family and loved ones for the sincere show of love showered on him. He promised to reciprocate more than what everyone has done to him, he then pray God to bless and replenish the source from which everyone has removed to celebrate him in one way or another.

Comrade Bevuk I. Dokgak of Wokkos has written to congratulate PKK 2019-2023 House Of Reps Member Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi as the Hon. Member turns a year older today Nov. 5.

In his words, he described the Man Gagdi as a personality blessed with the gift of doggedness, focus, leadership and perseverance.

He therefore, advice the celebrant to be magnanimous in victory especially as he finally won all the legal battles recently.

BEVUK do pray to God Almighty to protect, direct and provide for him to do the PKK constituents and beyond prouder as possible.

It’s the birthday of a brand new Quadragenarian who stand tall among equals and contemporaries.
Gagdi distinguished himself with some sterling leadership qualities that earned him respect and admiration from both friends and foes. There are many of his qualities but suffice to mention for his birthday are:

*DOGGEDNESS:* He is always committed to any course that he believes in. His never say die attitude always strengthen his firmness and belief that with positive attitude, he can turn fortunes around while others wallow in despair and forlorn hope

*BLUNTNESS:* Some may be mistaking his bluntness for pomposity and pride but for some us that are in his understudy, we perfectly understood it to mean what it really is. He is never sceptic to call a spade a spade.

*GENEROSITY:* His generosity knowth no bound. His magnanimity is uncommon. He is particularly not averse to giving and giving and giving.

*VERSATILITY:* Babayo is politically versatile. He suits perfectly into any political situation. In a game of politics, he is both a lone and a team player. He was trained and adequately equipped in his armoury with repertoire of skills and tactics to attack and to defend when and where necessary. Little wonder why he is called Oscar.

*DISCIPLINE:* It is said that a child that washes his hands clean, dines with the Kings. This statement is particularly true of the story of the political development of Rt Hon Yusuf Gagdi. His antecedent is clean and he has utmost respect for constituted authority. Elders and youths alike.

*DETRIBALIZATION:* He is a companion of all and never care to honour any line of difference amongst his people. He don’t segregate on the basis of tribe or religion.
