WHY I HAVE NOT SPOKEN ON BOKO HARAM INSURGENCY IN MY COUNTRY SINCE IT WAS FOUNDED__Written by Akims Mamot James

WHY I HAVE NOT SPOKEN ON BOKO HARAM INSURGENCY IN MY COUNTRY SINCE IT WAS FOUNDED.

Boko Haram insurgency is something you do not carelessly speak about if you don’t know how it emanated.

Those who have fought the insurgency over the years have the true version of the story.

I am privilege to have a childhood friend who happens to be a special force with the Nigeria Army.

His encounter and experience amaze me and his statements over the insurgency still keep me awake consciously believing that the issue of Boko Haram insurgency is some people business and that is why the fight refuse to end.

He say there is a lot of expert weakness and working under the guise of instruction has reason why the army has been rated as a failure.

He said ” as a special force ” I have put in my beat for the built of success against the insurgency but the political aspect of it has been more alarming than what actually happens in the field as it is been studied by expert.

Boko Haram can not be a thing you conclude at one angle of your house just because must if the docked videos and the real gruesome murder of some victims.

We see a lot of politics in the activities of the insurgency while we give it our rating and conclude it is either a fight against one faith and sometimes we contradict ourselves as well.

A careful scholar who pick interest in the history of Nigeria crisis, war and attack either ethnic or headers and farmers clash.

The situation in this country has kept us suspicious against each other, this is because our focus has been over heated by the worrisome state of the series of attacks experienced.

I have been able to write about the Boko Haram insurgency for the first time and the only thing I ha e observe about the dread insurgent is the very fact that we have refuse to accept that Boko Haram is not projecting anyone agenda or program.

Our speculations in many quarters has resulted to creating more crafty suspicious among us instead of uniting us to think out of the box, we are busy given the insurgency popularity and fending for it continue expansion.

Nigerians has contributed through various means of publication given preference to the growth and expansion of the insurgency.

We are expected to act long ever so as to ensure the insurgency become a thing of the past through engaging one another in supplying information to the necessary agency that can wipe away the insurgency.

I will suggest that we embark on Spartan training for any child at the age of ten while we get involve in this unending menace.

It is time we declare insurgency Boko Haram a virus that it is either it is cure of frown at completely.

How do we go about it ?

Let’s, collectively resolve to be more proactive in looking at the issue with the feelings that it is a war declare against our existence than just religion which is not true.

We must rise to the task of ending Boko Haram if really we are ready to keep off the incessant killing that has continue to wipe us over the years.

Let’s have a rethink and stop blaming government or our problem will continue to consumes us.

Let accept the fact that we have been confronted with war against our existence than given it to religion alone.

Akims Mamot James.

A Nigeria more worried than any other citizen.

End insurgency if you are ready. The fight to end this dreaded terror starts with you.

THE PITIED STATE OF PLATEAU AMIDST POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS DISGUISED__Written by Akims Mamot James

THE PITIED STATE OF PLATEAU AMIDST POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS DISGUISED.

WHY RESOLUTION BECOMES A DUTY AHEAD OF 2023

Must at times when I sit in public places I often hear people talk about Plateau State a christian state and I smile with the feelings of being one who is from such state and could boldly speak with some courage and erbium.

I am indeed a Plateau son but possibly not from a christian state but a multi ethnic and fuse Christipolitical state where there is nothing you ever do for the beat interest of Plateau State that is right in the eye of opposition.

I have many times realise that the simple reason why we have not been able to grow in our sociopolitical prowess even with the high acclaimed political profile we score each other with intends are predictive calculations.

Plateau State has built herself over time carelessly without considering the current gab between religion and ethnicity. I am cowed by some postulation been carried out by young men who feel the can always climb political ladder by spreading religious hatred against one another at the expense of our good and dear nurtured relationship.

We have been created together and grew over time as one united and diversify people of rewarded humane existence.

I am still hurt by the millions unrewarded political fight we always filed against each other and later lack honour for our long existed pre political profile that has lot us out of our true friendship.

Must at times after the tussles we find it very difficult to returned and seat in a round table to sort our differences while the people we fought for still see their relationship first before politics.

We have lost it all just because we have consistently failed in our projection of who we ware and who we have become.

We have refuse to trust each other because our insincerity has continues to seed and possibly crank the poise we sort to be one big family.

Is religion our problem ?

Is ethnicity really the issue ?

I don’t think that is our major guise and the impending challenges we are faced with. If we must grow, there are things we must just have to make it a duty to ensure we let it go.

We must learn to tolerate each other without bench mark then we can further repost our shared love and continues existence as people and sustained our true love for one another.

We have eared one another severally, am aware we have done a lot to realise where we are today but the biggest issue; is lack of true love for each other. We have long lost it even when the urge was mistook by those who first create the issues we now clamour for in the name of politics and ethnic suicide.

We must embrace each other and coexist as one big united people to front a better and greater people with frown and clear interreligious hope to care for one another.

We must accept that over time we have leaved together and will continue to be together until the end of time.

Let’s forgive one another to have a coloured timeline for a better Plateau State.

Plateau is ours to celebrate and it is also ours to emulate from our predecessors how it was before now. Thank you for your time.

Akims Mamot James.

ENGINEER SULE SIGNS ANTI-KIDNAPPING LAW, BANS STREET BEGGING

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has signed into law the state anti-kidnaping prescribing either life imprisonment or death penalty for convicted kidnapper, recently passed by the state House of assembly.

The Governor equally signed into law the Child’s Right Protection Executive Order (2005), which bans street begging across the state.

Engineer Sule signed the laws at a combined ceremony, which held at the Taal Conference Hotel, Lafia, on Wednesday.

Explaining further, the Governor said, the anti-kidnapping law spells out various offences relating to kidnapping, prescribing stringent punishment for perpetrators, while the child’s right protection order, apart from prohibiting street begging, provides punishment for parents who out of negligence, abandon their children to beg in the streets in order to survive.

He warned that any building used in keeping victims of kidnapping and other heinous crimes, will henceforth be forfeited to government.

The Governor however pointed out that the law banning street begging will only be implemented only after ways have been identified to address the menace of street begging by the Almajiri.

“This will guarantee the safety, security, wellbeing, care good health and education, as well as guarantee the future of our children,” the Governor said.

While noting that Nasarawa State has no problem with the Almajiri School System, the Governor however said the state will sanction parents who send their children to such schools from faraway places, only to abandon such children to take to street begging.

Earlier in an introductory remarks, state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Associate Professor Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana, said the current spate of kidnapping and related offences in the state has assumed alarming proportions.

Associate Prof. Kana added that, in addition to efforts by the state government to combat crimes, the state House of assembly, in its approach to issues touching on the lives of the ordinary people, passed the Nasarawa State Anti-Kidnapping Law 2019.
He further explained that the executive order on child’s right protection, was geared towards protecting children from exploitation and abuse, neglect, abandonment, while at the same time guaranteeing education for all.

The Commissioner for Justice added that the executive order will make for the full implementation of the Child’s Right Law in the state.
