DECLARATION OF INTENTION TO CONTEST THE POSITION OF YOUTH CHAIRMANSHIP, KANAM LGC.
Let me first of all Express my profound Gratitude and Appreciation to you all.
I, Prince. Taru Salim A. Dugub I’m a Jahr (Jarawa) by tribe from Dugub Village of Dugub Ward, Badawa Area Of Kanam Local Government Area of Plateau State, I fully declare myself to the great people (Youths) of my Local Government to contest for a Chairmanship position of Kanam Local Government Youth Council in the forthcoming Elections.
Having fully consulted, Assessed and met all the Conditions spelt out by the Local Government Youth Council act and after analytically Assessing my strength and weakness in respect to the above, I wish to declare my intention to Serve as a Local Government Council Youth Chairman in the forthcoming Youth Council Elections.
I believe this is not for anything else, rather than the love and good intentions all of us have for our communities and Local Government, but using different approaches, that is however the beauty of democracy, respect for diversity!
I need your support, I need your prayers , I ask for your trust. I invite you to join me on this journey, this quest , to redefine our Union of Youth in Kanam LGC. Let us build a better environment.
I pledge to build upon the foundation already laid by our predecessors over the years , strengthen the weak pillars and fill the cracks in the process .
As you can all see, I have always been actively engaged in both public and private life, with rich credentials. I am therefore going into this race neither for personal gains or selfish ambition, nor to promote partisan interests or mediocrity; but to prove to you more than I have all it takes_ characters, energy, the time and the capacity to serve and inspire you and also to rebrand the image of our Local Government.
Therefore, let me use this singular honor and opportunity to call on all of us to be henceforth resilient and selfless in promoting and protecting the principles and values.
It is my self conviction that Kanam must rise again and shine. to delightful of each and everyone of us. I thank you for your keen and attention.
