I received the news of the demise of our dear father and leader the late Prof Dakum Shown with sadness at this moment.
To me this is a loss to all because he was one who has touched our lives both directly and indirectly in some instances and has been instrumental to where we are today.
On behalf of the entire people of Pankshin South I sympathize with the family of the Late Prof Dakum Shown, the Mupun Nation and Plateau State on this loss.
The legacies he has left behind will jealously be guided as a way of further uniting and strengthening the political and educational landscape of Plateau and Nigeria.
May God guide his family at this trying moment and may his soul rest in peace with the Lord.
