Today, the member representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam federal constituency Rt. Hon Yusuf Gagdi off set the hospital bills for all the in patient at General Hospital Pankshin who are currently hospitalised.
The member in a surprise stop over at the hospital during his visit to Pankshin today went round all the wards of the hospital to greet and identify with the patients and their care takers and the hard working staff that are giving their all towards seeing to the medical needs of the patients there.
He prayed for God healing hands to be on those suffering from different ailments in the hospital.
He instantly negotiated with the chief Nursing officer of the hospital who was on ground and received him and immediately hands out a cash donation to the hospital which will pay for the bills of the patients as his own modest contribution towards ameliorating the hardship the families might had incurred as bills for the treatment.
The Chief Nursing Officer on behalf of the hospital management appreciated the honorable member for such great act of humanity. He reiterated the need for politicians and other well to do citizens to be coming to the aide of patients in hospitals as many are not finding it easy to access proper healthcare due to the inability to pay for the cost of the treatment.
The member was accompanied by his wife Haj Maryam Yusuf Gagdi, his aides and teaming supporters.
