Tribute to Late Senator Longjan
I came close to our dear Baba Senator Longjan In 2008 when he was the Chief of Staff and I was an Adviser on InterGovernmental Affairs to Governor JANG by then and found in him a man of great honor.
We have indeed lost a Leader of unequal humility and sense of compassion. A selfless Elder statesman that places the interest of others first that even on the sickbed is worried about the plight and welfare of His people.
He was surely a man of high integrity with great contentment worthy of emulation. Oh a father and a detribalized leader that loves peace and harmonious relationship with humanity in all he does is gone!
I’m so scared and saddened with this departure at a critical period of great test on the Plateau.
Kai, we shall miss your humble and surprise visits to us. We shall miss your escorts to the car whenever we visit and your wise counsel all the time. We shall miss your true love.
May God almighty grant you rewards for your good deeds. May HE gracious forgive your human errors and grant you a blessed eternity.
